We often get asked versions of: How does Dev List work?
To answer those questions, here's a quick behind the scenes tour of Dev List.
Our job listings come primarily from 3 sources:
1. Companies reaching out to us with new openings to send to our users.
2. New postings on a company career page.
3. Leading job boards like Linkedin, Glassdoor, Indeed, SimplyHired etc.
Since most jobs appear on multiple platforms, our software ignores duplicates to make sure we’re not double counting.
We’ve also found there are a lot of spam listings out there - most likely posted for data collection - so we built in house software to identify these and filter them out.
Every job is cataloged with 15+ key data points. So far we're nearing a million data points collected! 🥳

We’ve had lots of users telling us how much they’ve enjoyed using Dev List, and that is what keeps us going. 😄
